Galtby is a village in the former municipality of Korpo in western Finland, which is now part of the city of Pargas .

It is located about three kilometers north of the church village of Korpo and is known for its ferry port . Viking Line started its car ferry service there in 1959 via Åland to Gräddö in Sweden , but in 1962 moved its port of departure on the Finnish side to Pargas, closer to the mainland.

Today the Ålandstrafik transport company serves Galtby with car ferries to Kökar , Flam and Långnäs . There are also ferry services from Galtby to Houtskär for travelers wishing to travel the archipelago route to and from Turku .
