Geriet Schieske (born April 25, 1945 in Dahle , Westphalia ) is a German director , actor and author .

biography

His father was Alfred Schieske - a well-known Berlin state actor (for example as Doolittle in the Berlin premiere of My Fair Lady ). Schieske graduated from high school in 1966 and then worked as an assistant director, dancer, small actor , lighting technician, prop master at the city theaters of Koblenz, Mainz and Bonn. In 1969 he got his first engagement as a director at the Westfälische Kammerspiele in Paderborn. From 1970 to 1973 Schieske was then the 1st director at the Württemberg State Theater in Esslingen. From 1973 he was a freelance director and actor at theaters in Rendsburg, Hamburg, Hanover, Kleve and Essen.

In 1978/79 he worked as artistic director , director and actor at the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg. During this time and in the following years he staged as a guest at various theaters in Hamburg and played a. a. with Heidi Kabel at the Ohnsorg Theater . In addition, Schieske gained his first acting experience on television and worked in various dubbing studios in the city and in the pornographic environment.

The Executioner , a play about Austria's last executioner, was a theater work by Geriet Schieske, which had a successful premiere in Hamburg in October 2005. In October 2014 he directed Der Schwan as part of the 24-hour musicals , in March 2015 for Mord am Mikro! in Ahrensburg .

Urmel from the ice was adapted for Sat.1 as a major Christmas event in 2005 . The success of the Augsburger Puppenkiste from the 60s was recorded in the Coloneum in Cologne by comedians and actors in a three-hour live performance and shown on the screen on the 4th weekend in Advent. Again Schieske directed.
