Gernsbacher tour
The Gernsbacher Runde is a multi-day circular hiking trail around Gernsbach in the northern Black Forest . It is 42.7 km long and can be tackled in two to three daily stages. The trail was awarded the German Hiking Seal rating by the German Hiking Institute . The opening date was April 29, 2007.

The path starts in the Murg Valley , climbs the eastern flank of the valley via a side valley and returns to the Murg at Hilpertsau, before reaching the heights west of Gernsbach with Mercury as the highest point. The round closes with another descent into the Murgtal.

Signage
The path symbol is the red Ebersteiner rose on a white background. The signs are 10 × 10 cm squares on a corner. A corner marked in red shows the direction.
