Gotthards is a district of the municipality of Nüsttal in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda . The hamlet of Kermes with 34 inhabitants belongs to the village .

geography

The place is in the east of Hesse in the valley of the Nüst in the nature park Hessische Rhön . Gotthards is a recognized resort . District road 128 meets state roads 3176 and 3293 in the village .

history

Gotthards was first mentioned in 1343.

On August 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Gotthards was incorporated into the municipality of Nüsttal by means of state law as part of the regional reform in Hesse .
