Greg Germann

Greg Germann (born February 26, 1958 in Houston ) is an American actor and director .

Life and accomplishments

Germann's father was a professor of theater studies and the author of plays for children. Germann grew up in Golden in the US state of Colorado . He studied drama at the University of Northern Colorado . He started his professional career in plays on Broadway ; in The Person I Once Was he played alongside Holly Hunter .

Greg Germann became known through the television series Ally McBeal , in which he played the partner of the law firm, Richard Fish . He also directed several episodes. He won the Screen Actors Guild Award with the ensemble in 1998, 2000 and 2001. He also starred in the sitcom Ned & Stacey . Germann directed the short film Pete's Garden , which won an award at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival .

Germann was married to actress Christine Mourad and has a son who was born in 1997. He has been married to Martha Champlin since 2013.

His German voice actor is Oliver Rohrbeck .
