Gustav Münch as a corps student (Corps Saxonia Karlsruhe)

Gustav Münch (born August 9, 1843 in Hof Traisfurt , Runkel office ; † February 1, 1910 in Gießen ) was an engineer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Münch attended the Realgymnasium in Wiesbaden , the Polytechnic in Karlsruhe and the University of Munich . In Karlsruhe he was a member of the Corps Saxonia . He worked as an engineer in the construction of various railways and from 1874 to 1879 in the construction of the naval port in Kiel .

He was also community representative of the community of Gaarden and chairman of the building commission and member of the school commission from 1875 to 1879. He was also a committee member of the association for school reform, member of the association for raising river and canal shipping and member of the craftsmen's association in Frankfurt an der Oder .

From 1881 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Wiesbaden 4 ( Limburg , Oberlahnkreis , Unterlahnkreis ) and first for the German Progressive Party , later for the German Liberal Party . He was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1882 until his death for three constituencies in the Wiesbaden administrative district .
