Guy Davidi

Guy Davidi (born July 9, 1978 in Jaffa , Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli director , film producer and cameraman who focuses on documentaries and short films .

life and career

Guy Davidi was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1978. When he was ten years old, his father died and the family moved north to Kfar-Saba . From 2000 he studied at Tel Aviv University Cinema School , which he left after a year. In 2002 and 2003 Davidi lived in Paris .

In 2001 he worked as a cameraman for the Israeli television film My Last Novel . Guy Davidi was also the cameraman for the French documentary Les souvenantes . He worked as a cameraman and director for the documentaries In Working Progress , A Gift from heaven , Zramim Ktu'im and Keywords . At the 2013 Academy Awards , Guy Davidi and Emad Burnat received a nomination in the Best Documentary 5 Broken Cameras category .
