Houses in Pompeii

Houses in Pompeii was a project of the German Archaeological Institute , which had set itself the task of documenting selected residential buildings in Pompeii , with particular reference to the wall paintings and decorations. The results were published in volumes richly furnished with drawings and photos. The initiator and editor of the project was Volker Michael Strocka .
