Hans-Jörg Assmann

Hans-Jörg Assmann (* 1943 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Assmann completed his acting training from 1965 to 1968 at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Hamburg . He played theater at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt (1968–1972 and 1980–1991), at the Staatstheater Stuttgart (1972–1976 and 1991–2002), at the Theater Basel (1976–1980) and at the Schauspiel Essen (1991–2002) . Since the beginning of the 1990s, Assmann has been increasingly seen in cinema and, in particular, television productions. In 1993 he starred in Steven Spielberg's multiple Oscar- winning feature film Schindler's List . For Dieter Wedel he stood in front of the camera in the successful television films Der große Bellheim , Der Schattenmann and für Gier . Assmann has already starred several times in Tatort and in television series such as Ein Fall für Zwei , Siska and Der Alte and is also a familiar face in many other series and television films.

Assmann lives in Worpswede .
