Hans Nientimp

Hans Nientimp (born November 12, 1884 in Stenern near Borken , †  April 7, 1947 in Rehau ) was a German politician ( German Center Party ).

Live and act

Hans Nientimp was born in 1884 as the son of a farmer in the Rhineland. After attending elementary school and high school , he studied at the universities in Münster and Kiel . From 1911 to 1913 he worked as a secretary for the Catholic Center Party, then as a syndic for medium-sized associations.

From 1914 Nientimp took part in the First World War as a company commander . In 1915 he was taken prisoner of war, from which he was released again in 1918. In the same year he married. After the war he settled in Bochum , where he became a city councilor in 1919. In 1926 he took the rank of city councilor on the city council. For the Center Party, Nientimp became a member of the Reichstag in Berlin in 1924 as a member of constituency 18 (Westphalia-South) , to which he was a member until 1930. From 1920 he was also a member of the Westphalian Provincial Parliament .

After the Second World War , Nientimp settled in Bavaria and became a member of the Christian Social Union (CSU).
