Hans Rüdiger (Pastor)

Hans Rüdiger (born April 1, 1878 in Hinrichshagen ; † March 21, 1947 in Schönberg (Mecklenburg) ) was a German Evangelical Lutheran clergyman and author of spiritual games.

Live and act

Hans Rüdiger was the son of Hinrichshagen pastor Johannes August Rüdiger and his wife Minna, born later known as a writer . Waack . He was given a pension to relatives in Lübeck and attended the Katharineum in Lübeck , which he graduated from high school in 1899 . He studied Protestant theology at the universities of Tübingen, Berlin and Rostock . From 1903 to 1905 he was assistant preacher in Wesenberg and then taught as a teacher at the secondary school for girls in Neustrelitz . In 1907 he was appointed pastor in Prillwitz and in 1910 chief pastor of the Laurentius Church in Schönberg (Mecklenburg) .

In the 1920s in particular, he published numerous designs for nativity plays, but also Easter plays and other pieces for church work with children and young people. In addition, he wrote essays on local history.
