Hans Zimmermann (politician, 1948)
Hans Zimmermann (born July 31, 1948 in Bitterfeld ; † November 4, 2015 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).
Zimmermann attended high school and after completing an apprenticeship as a chemical technician, he worked as a site manager at the Bitterfeld Chemical Combine . In June 1988 he secretly supported the filming of the ARD program Kontraste for the contribution Bitteres from Bitterfeld . After reunification, he headed an environmental office in Bitterfeld .
Zimmermann joined the GDR CDU in 1970 . In 1989 he was elected to their district board in Bitterfeld , in 1990 he became a managing board member of the economic association of the CDU Saxony-Anhalt . In the same year he was a member of the last people 's chamber in the GDR . After reunification, he sat in the German Bundestag for three months .
