Hany El Fakharany ( Arabic هاني الفخراني, DMG Hānī al-Faḫarānī ; * April 6, 1978 ) is an Egyptian handball player .

El Fakharany played for the German Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin between 2007 and 2009 . Before the circle player played for the foxes, he was active in his homeland for al Ahly Cairo .

El Fakharany has so far played 173 international matches for the Egyptian men's handball team . He took part in the Olympic Games in 2000 , 2004 and 2008 and won the African handball championship with the Egyptian national team in 2008 .
