Hedi Kriegeskotte (* 1949 in Oberhausen ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

After training as an actor at the Hanover University of Music and Drama , Hedi Kriegeskotte had numerous long-term engagements at well-known German theaters. From 1978 to 1986 she worked at the Nationaltheater Mannheim , after which she played at the Schauspielhaus Bochum from 1986 to 1993 . Further stations of her stage career were from 1993 to 2005 the Württemberg State Theater in Stuttgart and from 2005 to 2013 the German Theater in Hamburg. Since 2013, Kriegeskotte has been engaged at the Heidelberg Theater , the Leipzig Theater , the Munich Residenztheater and again at the Bochum Schauspielhaus. Well-known roles were Father Lorenzo in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet , Geesche Gottfried in Bremer Freiheit by Rainer Werner Fassbinder , Winnie in Beckett's Happy Days or Miss Rasch in Franz Xaver Kroetz 's one-person piece Wunschkonzert . She received two nominations for actress of the year from the trade journal Theater heute .

During her time at the Stuttgart State Theater, Kriegeskotte had a teaching position at the State University for Music and Performing Arts there . In Hamburg she taught at the Frese Drama Studio .

At the end of the 1980s, Hedi Kriegeskotte began her extensive work for film and television. After she was initially seen in films by Sönke Wortmann with Drei D , Alone Among Women , Kleine Haie and The Moving Man , she later took on guest roles in series such as Pastewka , Notruf Hafenkante , SOKO Wismar or SOKO Stuttgart as well as in some Tatort episodes.

Since 1979, Kriegeskotte has also been a busy speaker in radio and audio book productions. So she appeared in two episodes of the series Düsse Petersens and in radio play versions of Kleiner Mann - what next? based on the novel of the same name by Hans Fallada and Daniel Kehlmann's Die Vermessung der Welt mit.
