Herbert Joseph Drury (born March 2, 1895 in Midland , Ontario , Canada , † July 1, 1965 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) was an American ice hockey player . He played in the position of defender.

Career

At the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp , he won the silver medal in the Olympic ice hockey tournament with the US national team , which was made up of players from St. Paul AC , Pittsburgh AA and Boston AA . He did the same at the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix , where he scored 22 goals in five games and prepared three more. In the NHL , he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1925 to 1930 , and after the franchise moved in the 1930–31 season for the Philadelphia Quakers .
