The Hermannswasser ( DGKZ 422) is an approximately 4.7 km long stream in the area of ​​the municipality of Flieden in the district of Fulda in Hesse . The stream has a catchment area of ​​8.22 km².

The stream rises on the gently sliding northern slope of the " Huttener Berg " on the " Hessian Land Ridge " approx. 1 km north of Hutten in the Spessart Nature Park on the border with the Rückers district in the Hessian Rhön Nature Park . It runs from southeast to northwest through the district of Rückers.

In the " local recreation and source area " it is derived from other small sources from the corridors " Hermannswinkel ", " Im Rücker Wald " / " Breitefeld " and the " Steinkammer " and the small tributaries on the right, from the corridors " Baumgarten " and " Ackershaag " fed and runs northwest to the place Rückers.

At the entrance to Rückers he passes the former " Ruppelsmühle ". At the height of " Mühlenstraße ", coming from the north, in the direction of " Steinkammer ", the " Struther Wasser " (formerly the Mühlbach of the " Krämermühle ") flows into the Hermannswasser.

In the middle of the village at the level of the school, the " Hermannswasser " joins the " Kesbach ", a parallel river that flows in the west of Rückers in a headwaters in the hallway " In the old book " at the foot of the " Little Fly " (Hutten district) arises.

In the further course it passes the former " Leidemühle " and the former " Lappensteiner Mühle " and finally flows into the " Kautzer Wasser " in the district of Flieden . Before the "Hermannswasser" flows into the "Kautzer Wasser" , it still feeds the mill ditch of the "Adenmühle" , which then also flows into the "Kautzer Wasser" .
