Hermenegildo Ramírez Sánchez MJ (born April 13, 1929 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican clergyman and prelate emeritus of Huautla .

Life

Hermenegildo Ramírez Sánchez joined the Order of Missionaries of Saint Joseph and was ordained a priest on July 5, 1953 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on January 4, 1975 as prelate of Huautla and titular bishop of Santa Giusta . The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico Mario Pio Gaspari donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Ernesto Corripio y Ahumada , Archbishop of Antequera , and Braulio Sánchez Fuentes SDB , Prelate of Mixes .

On February 15, 1978 he renounced his titular bishop's seat as part of the new allocation guidelines of the Roman Curia . On October 15, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
