Herve is a small Belgian town in the Wallonia region in the Herver Land . It is located in the province of Liege in the Belgian district of Verviers .

Herve has 17,609 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) and an area of ​​56.98 km² (according to other sources 56.84 km²), including the formerly independent towns of Battice , Bolland, Bruyères, Chaineux, Charneux, Grand-Rechain , which were incorporated in 1977 , José, Julémont, Manaihant, Xhendelesse and their hamlets.
