Hubert Mulzer

Hubert Mulzer (* 1944 in Memmingen ) is a German actor .

Life

Hubert Mulzer studied school music at the Munich University of Music from 1970 to 1974 and passed his state examination as a music teacher . From 1982 to 1984 he had private acting lessons from the well-known actor Wolfgang Büttner . In the 1980s, Mulzer worked as a news anchor for Bavarian Broadcasting . He also moderated the night edition of the Rundschau .

At the beginning of his career as an actor there were theater engagements . He played at the theater in the Karlshof in Munich . From 1988 to 1990 Mulzer was a member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt . From 1990 to 1993 he performed in Munich at the Theater rechts der Isar. During these years Mulzer played the title role in Volpone by Ben Jonson , Hofmarschall von Kalb in Kabale und Liebe by Friedrich Schiller , Harpargon in Der Geizige von Molière and Edgar in Play Strindberg by Friedrich Dürrenmatt .

His career on German television began in the mid-1990s. Mulzer took on several continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles.

Mulzer was often used on German television in demanding television games and productions with a contemporary history background. He has made a name for himself as a sensitive and differentiated character actor. In 2001 he played the role of Professor Ballach in the film Vera Brühne by Hark Bohm and in 2005 the Walter Model in Speer und Er .
