Hubert Schmitt-Degenhardt

Hubert Schmitt-Degenhardt (born October 4, 1902 in Serkenrode , † March 3, 1995 in Aachen ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

Schmitt-Degenhardt was born the son of a farmer. After graduating from high school, he studied law in Würzburg, Frankfurt and Münster. Before 1945 he worked in the Reich Finance Administration, from 1945 at the Detmold tax office. In 1950 he came to the Ministry of Finance of North Rhine-Westphalia as Ministerialrat. From 1955 until his retirement in 1967 he was the district president of the administrative district of Aachen .

Initially incorporated into the Unitas Association , he joined the Ring of Catholic German Fraternities . He was a founding member of the KDB Nibelungen zu Münster, founded in 1925 (later in the RKDB ) and band philistine of other fraternities in the RKDB a. a. in Würzburg, Düsseldorf and Aachen.

Hubert Schmitt-Degenhardt found his final resting place in the Aachen forest cemetery .
