2011 Indy Lights season
The 2011 Indy Lights season was the 26th season of the American Indy Lights racing series . 13 races were held. The season began on March 27 in Saint Petersburg and ended on October 16 in Las Vegas .
Teams and drivers
All teams used Dallara chassis , Infiniti engines and Firestone tires .

Racing calendar
The 2010 Indy Lights season consisted of 14 races. 13 races were part of the supporting program of the IndyCar Series . With the race in Trois-Rivières, a race outside of the IndyCar Series took place for the first time since 2007. Six races were held on ovals, seven on street circuits or temporary racetracks and one on a permanent racetrack.

There was also one extra point for pole position and two extra points for the driver who had led the race most of the laps.
