Ivar Olsen (born February 9, 1960 ) is a former Norwegian Nordic combined skier .

His first place in the points in a competition in the Nordic Combined World Cup achieved Olsen on March 8, 1984 in Oslo . In a Gundersen competition on the large hill with a subsequent cross-country skiing distance of 15 kilometers, he reached twelfth place. In the further course of his career he was able to achieve six more points, in the process he was ranked among the top ten three times: on December 20, 1984 in St. Moritz, ninth, on February 23, 1985 in Soviet Leningrad, as sixth and on 16 March 1985 again in Oslo as fourth. He also placed eleventh in Oberwiesenthal on December 29, 1984 and twelfth in Schonach on January 5, 1985 . There he reached on January 4, 1986 again with twelfth place and his last point result. The best result in the overall World Cup was ninth place with 38 points from the 1984/85 season . In 1983/84 and 1985/86 he was 31st and 29th of the overall World Cup with four points each
