Jeff Kline

Jeff Kline (born February 25, 1944 in McKeesport ) is a former American automobile racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Jeff Kline was a well-known sports car driver in North America in the 1980s . He achieved his greatest successes in the IMSA-GT and the IMSA-GTP series . In 1980 he was overall runner-up in a Mazda RX-7 in the GTU class, behind his brand colleague Walt Bohren . Again in a Mazda RX-7, he was able to finish this championship in 1984 in third place overall.

He celebrated 19 class wins in his career, including three in the Sebring 12-hour race . His only overall victory was the GTU championship run in Road Atlanta in 1980.
