Jennifer Redfearn

Jennifer Redfearn (* 1975 or 1976 in New York City , New York ) is an American film producer and film director in the field of documentary film , who received a nomination in the category of best short documentary film for her film Sun Come Up at the 2011 Academy Awards .

Redfearn's film career began in 2006 as an assistant camera on the film Black Sorority Project: The Exodus . Since 2008 she has been responsible for documentaries and series as a film producer.

She received her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and her master's degree from Columbia University . In 2010 she founded the film production company Red Antelope Films with her husband Tim Metzger .
