Jens Sander

Jens Sander is a former German American football player.

career

Sander switched from the Berlin Adlers to the Braunschweig Lions in 1997 . He was in Braunschweig's squad until 2001. He was German champion with the Lower Saxony in 1997, 1998 and 1999 and the 1999 Eurobowl winner. In the seasons 2000 and 2001 Sander reached the German runner-up in Braunschweig. For the 2002 season he moved to the Berlin Adlers.

With the German national team, Sander , who was used in the offensive line , came second in the European Championship in 2000, and the following year he won the European Championship title with the selection team.

As a member of the coaching staff, Sander got involved with the Berlin Kobras Ladies and the Berlin Rebels, among others .
