Jesse Metcalfe
Jesse Metcalfe (born December 9, 1978 in Waterford , Connecticut ) is an American actor .
Career
Metcalfe graduated from New York University Film School . He became known in the United States when he played a role in the soap opera Passions from 1999 to 2004 .
In late 2004 and early 2005, he made guest appearances on the Smallville series. He achieved greater fame beyond the USA at the end of 2004 when he slipped into the role of the teenage gardener John Rowland in the successful series Desperate Housewives ; the series character was briefly revived in the sixth season. In 2010 he stood next to Bill Moseley and Erika Christensen in Robert Lieberman's horror thriller The Tortured .
He also played in the music video Let Me Go by 3 Doors Down and in 2006 in the comedy Rache ist sexy (English original title: John Tucker Must Die ). In November 2008, he fell from a balcony, but did not suffer any major injuries.
After a leading role in the short-lived crime series Chase , Metcalfe played a leading role in the sequel of the same name from 2012 to 2014 of the television series Dallas, which ran with great success in the 1980s . There he embodied the character of Christopher Ewing , the adopted son of Bobby Ewing ( Patrick Duffy ) and Pamela Barnes Ewing ( Victoria Principal ).
