Jim Mahon Memorial Trophy
The Jim Mahon Memorial Trophy is a trophy of the Ontario Hockey League . It has been awarded annually since 1972 to the right winger with the highest points in the league. Similarly, there is no trophy for the left winger with the best points.
The trophy is named after Jim Mahon , a hopeful ice hockey talent who died in an electrical accident at the age of 19 . Mahon ran for the Peterborough Petes between 1969 and 1971 .
