Johanna von Koczian (born October 30, 1933 in Berlin as Johanna von Kóczián-Miskolczy ) is a German actress , singer , writer and voice actress .
Life
Johanna von Koczian is the daughter of Gustav Wilhelm Viktor Freiherr von Kóczián-Miskolczy and his wife Lydia Alexandra Freifrau von Kóczián-Miskolczy nee. Grosspietsch . Von Koczian began her career in the 1950s. She played in the theater because of her singing talent, especially in musicals . She received her theater training from 1950 to 1952 at the Mozarteum Salzburg ; from 1951 she was engaged at the Salzburg Festival . In 1952 and 1953 she played at the Landestheater Tübingen , in 1953 she was engaged at the Wuppertal Municipal Theaters . From 1955 von Koczian played at the Schillertheater and at the Schlosspark Theater in West Berlin . She had her first film role in the remake of Viktor and Viktoria in 1957. In the following year she played the female lead in Wir Wunderkinder , where she was seen alongside Hansjörg Felmys and the cabaret artist couple Wolfgang Neuss and Wolfgang Müller . In addition, she was also active as a voice actress and loaned a. a. Elizabeth Taylor (in Last Summer's Sudden ) and Bibi Andersson ( Wild Strawberries , The Seventh Seal ) cast their votes. In 1966 she also dubbed Maria Marlow in the Reinl two-part Die Nibelungen .
Johanna von Koczian had a leading role in the hit television series Stewardessen (1969).
In the later years her work was mainly focused on the theater, and so to this day she often appears in boulevard theater pieces that are also produced for tours . For example, she celebrated a great success in 1990 at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm with the play Endlich alone at the side of Wolfgang Spier and Michael von Au . In 1993 she played alongside Felix Dvorak and under his direction at the Berndorf Festival , she played Frau Peschka in Das Kamel geht durch das Nadelöhr and in 1995 again under the direction of Dvorak at the Komödienspiele Mödling, Princess Eugenie in Molnars Olympia . On television she mainly appeared in series such as Das Traumschiff , Die Landärztin , Praxis Bülowbogen or Berliner Weisse mit Schuß . She was completely in her element in the films Single Bells and O Palmenbaum .
In the 1970s she had great success as a singer of hits such as Der Lord von Barmbek (1973), Keinen Pfennig (1974), The Little Bit of Household (1977), Aufsteh'n ist schön (1978), Ganz der Vater (1978) or Karl, give me the hammer (1979). She also appeared in the ZDF hit parade . She then worked as a presenter for some time in the long-standing ZDF music quiz Do you recognize the melody?
Since 1977 she has also worked as a writer, initially as a writer of children's and youth literature . On the basis of her two novels, Adventure in the Full Moon Night and The Mysterious Count , the thirteen-part television series Unterwegs nach Atlantis was created in 1982 , and as a sequel she wrote the youth novel Escape from the Island .
On November 7, 2010, Johanna von Koczian had her last theater premiere in Peter Quilter's play Glorious on the stage of the Berliner Komödie on Kurfürstendamm .
After a brief marriage with director Dietrich Haugk , which was divorced in 1961, Johanna von Koczian married the music producer Wolf Kabitzky, who died in 2004. She is the mother of the actress Alexandra von Koczian.
