The Johor Circuit is a motorsport - racing circuit in Pasir Gudang , Johor , Malaysia .
The clockwise route was officially opened in 1986. The 3.86 km long circuit is the first racetrack to open in Malaysia. There is also a karting and motocross track on the racetrack grounds .
In 1992 and 1993 it hosted a run for the Superbike World Championship , and in 1998 the Malaysian Grand Prix for motorcycles was held as part of the Motorbike World Championship .
Today, national automobile and motorcycle championship races are held on the track. It is also available for public trips.
