Julia Wieninger
Julia Wieninger (born 1968 in Munich ) is a German actress .
life and work
Wieninger completed her acting studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Subsequently, she was engaged at the Vienna Burgtheater , of which she was a member from 1991 to 1996. This was followed by engagements at the Schauspiel Bonn , the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , the Theater Bremen , the Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden and the Schauspiel Leipzig . The director and general manager Karin Beier invited her to join the ensemble of the Schauspiel Köln in the 2007-08 season .
Julia Wieninger has been part of the ensemble of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg since the 2013–14 season - again with Karin Beier .
She also appeared several times in pieces by Elfriede Jelinek . Some productions in which she participated were invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen , including the journey through the night by Friederike Mayröcker (director: Katie Mitchell) and most recently John Gabriel Borkman by Henrik Ibsen (director: Karin Henkel). The actress worked with a number of well-known directors, including Alvis Hermanis , Hans Hollmann , David Mouchtar-Samorai , Hans Neuenfels , Claus Peymann and Krzysztof Warlikowski , but also with a surprising number of women directors, including - in addition to Karin Beier - Karin Henkel and Konstanze Lauterbach and Katie Mitchell .
