Juliane Rumpf , b. Baehr, (born May 8, 1956 in Freienberg / Sehestedt ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and headed the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Areas in the Carstensen II cabinet from 2009 to 2012 .

Hull studied in Kiel Agricultural Sciences and in 1983 with a thesis on the behavior of dairy cows in loose housing doctorate . Since 1979 she has been a research assistant at the Institute for Milk Production of the Federal Institute for Milk Research in Kiel. Since 1985 she worked in the Ministry of Finance of Schleswig-Holstein - most recently as head of department. After the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2009 , Prime Minister Peter Harry Carstensen was the only woman in his CDU / FDP cabinet.

On June 18, 2018, Juliane Rumpf was elected President of the Rendsburg-Eckernförde District Council.

Personal

Juliane Rumpf is married to the doctor Wolfgang Rumpf. She works voluntarily as an ambassador for the Climate Forest Foundation .
