Karin Andersen , born Karin Lydia Luise Niedermaier , pseudonym Karin Klinger , married name Karin Klinksik (born December 9, 1927 in Brandenburg an der Havel ; † July 3, 2013 ) was a German actress .

Life

Karin Andersen was born as the daughter of Police Major Franz Niedermaier and his wife Margarete (born in Lau) in Brandenburg an der Havel. She initially worked as a photographer and animator . During the shooting of a crime film in which she was used as a still photographer , she met the actor Paul Klinger , who was 20 years older than her, in 1950 . The two married in 1954. The children Christine (* 1953) and Michael (* 1958) emerged from the relationship that existed until Klinger's cardiac death in 1971.

In 1951 Andersen, who had taken private acting lessons, got a first small role in the film The Late Girl (1951). She also had other appearances. a. as the daughter of Hans Albers in the streets at night and in Alle you cannot get married . She became known to a wide audience through the two Immenhof films Wedding at Immenhof and Holidays at Immenhof , in which she was seen at the side of her husband. Then she withdrew into private life.

Karin Andersen last lived under the name "Karin Klinger" in the village of Söcking on Lake Starnberg . Her son Michael Klinksik is also active in the film and media industry. He has made numerous documentaries for German television .

Karin Andersen was buried on July 15, 2013 in the cemetery in Söcking, where her husband's grave is also located.
