Johann Karl Stilp (born November 4, 1668 in Waldsassen , † around 1735 in Eger ) was a German sculptor .

Stilp was the son of the Waldsassen carpenter Ferdinand Jacob Stilp. Stilp's artistic talent showed early on. After his father's apprenticeship in the carpenter's trade, he came to work at the Waldsassen monastery building works . Stilp soon made a career there as an independent artist.

Stilp is known for his magnum opus , the larger-than-life sculptures in the library room of the monastery.
