The Kawabata Yasunari Literature Prize ( Jap. 川端康成文学賞 , Yasunari Kawabata Bungaku Shō ) is since 1974 annually in memory of the writer and Nobel laureate Yasunari Kawabata from the Kawabata Memorial Foundation ( 川端康成記念会 , Kawabata Yasunari-Kinenkai ) for outstanding narratives and short stories.
