Kevin Marlon Bobson (born November 13, 1980 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch football player .
Career
He was a player from the excellent youth team of Ajax Amsterdam even if he was never used for them in the professional team. In July 2001 he then changed the club. His destination was NAC Breda . But even there he could not assert himself and so he left the club again in August 2003.
Espanyol Barcelona was his new employer. However, he only lasted there for one season. With the number 18 on his back, he played nine competitive games for the Spaniards, in which he only scored one goal. In July 2004 he joined the Tilburg football club Willem II . Back in his home country, the Netherlands, he was able to help his new club play in the UEFA Cup the following season for his new club . He scored eight goals in 33 league games.
He suffered many injuries in the 2005/06 UEFA Cup season, which was one of the reasons why his team was eliminated in the first round of the UEFA Cup. In the league, Bobson only made 23 competitive games in which he only met once. He also got the only expulsion of his professional career so far this season.
In the 2006/07 season he also contributed to the non-relegation of his team, as he made at least five goals in at least 29 competitive games. During this season, his position changed. The center forward became a midfielder on the left flank.
In the summer of 2008 Kevin Bobson moved to FC Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga . The contract signed with FC RB Salzburg was terminated in January 2009 at the player's request. This decision was justified by family reasons. This was followed by half a year in Luxembourg at FC Wiltz 71 , before he let his career end in the lower leagues of the Netherlands. During this time he played for VV IJsselmeervogels , SV Bijlmer and most recently for the Zuidoost United club, founded in 2010 .
Personal
His son Divaio has played in the youth team of AFC Ajax Amsterdam since the 2012/2013 season and, like him, began his career at SV Bijlmer.
