The kfzteile24 GmbH , based in Berlin is the host of auto parts online stores with the same name. In terms of sales, the online shop in Germany was one of the largest in its product segment in 2017 and was ranked 47th among German online shops. In addition to the online business, the company operates three of its own branches in Berlin with attached car workshops. Around 550 people are employed at the headquarters in Berlin-Lichtenberg and Am Treptower Park , the three branches and the logistics locations in Neuseddin and Ludwigsfelde.
history
In 2001 kfzteile24 opened an eBay shop for auto parts. With over 250,000 reviews, the shop became one of the largest power sellers in the eBay Motors segment and received a star on eBay's own Walk of Stars in Dreilinden in 2007.
In 2005 Torsten Hainke, Matthias Kieper and René Steinert founded kfzteile24 GmbH . In 2006 they opened the first branch in Berlin-Weißensee and in 2007 the online shop kfzteile24-shop.de (later kfzteile24.de); in doing so, they shifted their sales from eBay to their own online shop.
The second branch was opened in 2008 in Berlin-Mahlsdorf with an attached central warehouse. In 2009 the company got involved in sports sponsorship and became the main sponsor of 1. FC Union Berlin . In 2010, the company expanded its first branch in Berlin-Weißensee to include a master car workshop, and in the following years all branches were equipped with workshops. For several years, the company hired RTL Formula 1 presenter Kai Ebel as the face of advertising .
Over the years, the company has increased its sponsorship in the sports sector, including as a series partner of the DTM and main and jersey sponsor of the Bundesliga soccer club SC Paderborn 07 (see also the section on sports sponsorship ).
The company's turnover in 2014 was around 114.329 million euros. In 2014 the third branch was opened in Berlin-Spandau .
In 2017, we moved into new business premises to accommodate the growing number of employees. The company has also been internationally active since 2018 under the domains carpardo.nl, carpardo.fr and capardoo.dk.

The company operates two online shops for automotive spare parts and accessories. The company also has three Berlin branches with associated workshops. Parts are shipped from a central logistics location, with up to 10,000 parcels being sent daily. kfzteile24 also operates a customer hotline and a YouTube channel. In 2018, additional online shops were opened in Austria, France and the Netherlands under the Carpardoo brand .

Soccer
The company has been the main and shirt sponsor of the second division club 1. FC Union Berlin since 2009 . The contract was extended until the 2014/15 season. In 2013, the then second division club SC Paderborn 07 followed another engagement as main and shirt sponsor. Since 2013 kfzteile24 GmbH has been represented with its premium brand f.becker_line as the main sponsor of the third division Chemnitzer FC . With SC Paderborn's promotion to the 1st Bundesliga in 2013/14, the company was represented in all three national leagues for one year. As a top sponsor of 1. FC Union Berlin and a premium partner of Hertha BSC , the company will remain connected to football in 2017.
Motorsport
In 2012 kfzteile24 started its motorsport involvement with the entry as main sponsor of the MS Racing Team , which is represented in the ADAC GT Masters racing series . Since 2013, the company has also been the main sponsor of the Mücke Motorsport racing team . With appearances in the DTM , Formula 3 , Formula BMW , ADAC Formula Masters and GP3, the team is one of the largest private racing teams. In 2017 kfzteile24 became a series partner of the ADAC GT Masters and supports Isabell Weber in the ADAC Motorboot Cup and Michael Reetz in karting.

The company appeared as a sponsor at darts events, including a. in 2017 and 2018 at " The Celebrity Darts World Cup ".
Locations
The company operates three branches in Berlin-Weißensee, Berlin-Mahlsdorf and Berlin-Spandau. The logistics are based in Neuseddin, Brandenburg. There is also a smaller warehouse (e.g. for rear silencers and trailer hitches) in Ludwigsfelde in Brandenburg. The company's headquarters are in Berlin-Lichtenberg, but most of the company's operations are based in Treptow-Köpenick. In 2019, the company headquarters was relocated from Berlin-Lichtenberg to the new location in Berlin-Treptow.
Award
The company was voted the winner by the Autobild readers in 2012, 2013 and 2014 in the categories of online mail order handling and offers.
The world named kfzteile24 the service champion in 2015 and 2018 and for the readers of auto motor und sport the company was BEST BRAND in the category "online mail order auto parts" in 2016 and 2017.
