Lapwing (heraldic animal)

The lapwing is a common figure in heraldry and as a heraldic animal is not very common in heraldic shield .

The bird is shown standing in the shield and looking heraldically to the right . Attributes, such as those commonly used for recognizing a crane or ostrich in the coat of arms , are not required for the lapwing. It can be recognized by the feather on the head and mainly by the black and white tinging , similar to nature.

His clutch is also a heraldic figure under lapwing eggs .
