Klaus Ploghaus
Klaus Ploghaus (born January 31, 1956 in Gelnhausen ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the Federal Republic - was one of the world's best hammer throwers in the 1970s and 1980s . His greatest achievement is the bronze medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles .

Klaus Ploghaus belonged to the ASC Darmstadt until 1983 , from 1978 to the LG Bayer Leverkusen , in 1982 he won his only German championship title, he was second six times. When he competed, he was 1.86 m tall and weighed 103 kg.
