Koppenloh is a wasteland of the Bad Grönenbach Kneipp spa in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria .

The wasteland is just under four kilometers northwest of Bad Grönenbach at an altitude of 643  m above sea level. NN . In a clockwise direction, starting in the north, Koppenloh borders on the municipality of Woringen, the hamlets of Darast and Dießlings and the village of Zell .

geology

Koppenloh is located on deposits from the Young Holocene and polygenetic valley filling from the Worm Ice Age . The subsoil consists of marl , clay , sand and gravel .

history

The wasteland was first mentioned in 1805 and belonged to Zell until it was incorporated into Bad Grönenbach.
