The Croatian Navy ( Croatian Hrvatska ratna mornarica ), HRM for short, is the naval force of the armed forces of the Republic of Croatia .
Tasks and organization
The Croatian Navy has a staff of 2,500 soldiers , 650 of whom are conscripts . In addition to the naval headquarters “Lora” in Split, it has naval bases in Lastovo , Ploce , Pula , Šibenik and Vis .
The Croatian Coast Guard is a civil association of the Croatian Navy.
Three mobile guided missile batteries ( RBS15 ) and ten artillery batteries are available for coastal defense .
