Laicore is an East Timorese Suco in the Laclo administrative office ( Manatuto municipality ).

Laicore is located in the eastern center of the Laclo Administration Office. The Northern Lacló , one of the few rivers in northern Timor that carries water all year round, crosses the Suco before it forms the northern border with Suco Uma Caduac . To the west are the sucos Lacumesac and Hohorai and to the south Uma Naruc . In the east is the administrative office of Manatuto with the sucos Iliheu , Aiteas and Ailili .

In 2017 the Aldeias Bahadic ( Bahadik , Badik ), Licore (Li-Core) and Rea-Hatu (Rehato) were separated from Iliheu and added to the Laclo administration office as the newly created Suco Laicore. The Aldeia Hatu-Ruin was newly formed in 2017. The area had only changed from Lacumesac and Uma Naruc to Iliheu in 2015.

South of the town laclo are located in the eastern part of the Sucos the villages Licore and Rea-Hatu , between the North and the river laclo Lago Coi village Bahadic and west of Northern laclo Tuha .

Bahadic has a primary school.

In 2015 there were 1017 inhabitants in the Aldeias, which were now part of Laicore in 2017.

history

On May 5, 1982, FALINTIL Bahadic fighters attacked , stole livestock and other property, and killed three residents. The Indonesian army then brought the Bahadic residents to Laclo for three days. They then returned to their homes, as the army established a permanent post there.

politics

The by-elections for the new administration took place in May 2017.
