The 35th European Athletics Indoor Championships took place from March 1-3, 2019 in the Scottish city ​​of Glasgow , United Kingdom .

On April 23, 2016, the European Athletics Federation (EAA) decided on Glasgow at its council meeting in Amsterdam . Competitors Apeldoorn ( Netherlands ), Minsk ( Belarus ) and Toruń ( Poland ) lost, as Glasgow received nine votes, Toruń six and Apeldoorn one vote.
