Lesley Ann Warren (born August 16, 1946 in New York ) is an American actress .

Life

Lesley Ann Warren was in 1965 for the film The Sound of Music and 1978 for Superman as Lois Lane on the cast list. In both cases, however, another actress was given the role.

After a number of television appearances, her film career began in 1967 when Walt Disney cast her in the last film he was still supervising, The Happiest Millionaire , opposite Fred MacMurray and Tommy Steele . Another Disney musical , The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band (1968), gave her the chance to prove her singing talent.

Lesley Ann Warren was married to film producer Jon Peters from 1967 to 1977 . With him she has a son, Christopher Peters , who is also an actor. On January 16, 2000, she married Ron Taft.
