Leslie Harvey

Leslie "Les" Cameron Harvey (born September 13, 1944 in Glasgow , Scotland , † May 3, 1972 in Swansea , Wales ) was a Scottish rock guitarist and co-founder of the band Stone the Crows .

Life

Harvey played in his older brother Alex Harvey's band at the age of 16 . In 1969 he founded the group Stone the Crows with Maggie Bell .

Leslie Harvey died on May 3, 1972 as a result of an electric shock that he received while rehearsing for a performance in Swansea on an ungrounded microphone . He was 27 years old and therefore belongs to Club 27 .
