Leslie Shatz (born before 1974) is a sound engineer and sound designer .

Life

Shatz began his career in the early 1970s, initially working on a few documentaries . He made his feature film debut in 1973 with the horror film An Eye for an Eye . The following year he worked on John Carpenter's film debut Dark Star - Finsterer Stern . His other notable films include Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now , Irvin Kershner's The Empire Strikes Back, and David Lynch's The Desert Planet .
