Levente Bozsik (born February 21, 1980 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian football player and coach .

Club career

Levente Bozsik is the nephew of the former GDR league player Karsten Lüders (* 1957). Bozsik was active at the beginning of his career for the Hungarian first division club Budapesti VSC . There he already played in his youth. He was brought to Germany by Lüders in 1999 and received a contract with the third division club 1. FC Union Berlin , where he was never able to assert himself. He scored his only goal from 19 games on the last day of the Regionalliga Nord 2000/01 in a 4-0 win over KFC Uerdingen 05 . This was followed by a free transfer to the relegated SC Fortuna Köln , but the young Hungarian striker was unsuccessful there too. After only six months, he therefore moved to the fourth division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he played until the end of the season. Due to a knee and a hip injury, the Hungarian had to end his career at the age of 24 at the Finnish club FC KooTeePee and in Cyprus at Anagennisi Dherynia .

From 2008 to 2018 he worked as a player, player-coach and assistant coach for various amateur clubs in the greater Nuremberg area.

Coaching career

In June 2018 he took over the coaching position at FC Dormitz in the Erlangen-Pegnitzgrund district class.
