Lilalu im Schepperland is a thirteen-part television series by the Augsburger Puppenkiste . It was first successfully broadcast in 2000. In 2001, the second season followed under the title Hokuspokus about Lilalu . The title is not mentioned in the opening credits.

action

The tin witch Synkopia, dictatorial mistress of cacophonies (also called Schepperland), brews a magic essence to get power over the land of Melodania, the land of beautiful tones. This essence consists of all tones. But since she cannot get the last note (a pure high C), she kidnaps Princess Lilalu, who has a magical voice. The kitchen gnome of the Melodanischer Hof, Pimpernell, and his girlfriend, the court crow Lukulla, help her with a trick . Both are tasked with freeing Lilalu. On their way they pass through numerous crazy countries, such as the giggle country, whose inhabitants only play tricks on each other, or the land of the clever, where all people have high foreheads and only speak in rhymes. The two are pursued on their journey by the vicious red goblin, which Pimpernel has shrunk with a paste from the sorcerer's apprentice Tüftle and who wants to get the antidote. Meanwhile, Lilalu is teaching Synkopia to sing to no avail. She also befriends Cedur, a bird of paradise enchanted into a kite . With the help of Lilalu, Pimpernell manages to gain the power of the magic essence and defeats Synkopia by bewitching her into a statue made of tin. Happy they return to Melodanien with Cedur and Silencio.

action

Peace and quiet have returned to Melodania after Lilalu's salvation from cacophonies. But Ulox and the red goblin manage to disenchant the witch Synkopia again. Once again she succeeds in kidnapping Cedur. Pimpernell and Lukulla go to cacophonies again. Pimpernell intended to marry Lilalu; he had also conjured up his own kingdom with the help of the magic essence. The High Council of the Wizarding Guild is very angry that a kitchen gnome has control of the essence. Meanwhile, chaos breaks out in Melodanien, because the court notes master had hidden the magic essence behind a bush to protect against Synkopia, where the cellar master mistook it for a bottle of his vintage must (which nobody but himself likes), while Pimpernel decides to give the magicians one To fool the bottle of cider so that there are now two bottles. While Synkopia and a group of witches that she has subjugated after they have broken into cacophonies and partied in a fight with the wizards steal the wrong essence, the red goblin gets the real one. After the goblin has used up most of the essence in his unsuccessful attempts to conjure himself up again, Pimpernel finally uses the tiny remainder to enchant all witches and wizards while they argue about which of them can now attack the land so that they can never conjure up evil again. The red goblin suddenly regains its original size as the effect of the paste was only temporary. He and Ulox open a shop for wizards. In the end, Pimpernel and Lilalu get married.
