List of Bundesliga soccer venues

The list of Bundesliga soccer venues includes all stadiums in which the men's Bundesliga matches have been played since 1963 . By the end of the 2014/2015 season, a total of 15,859 games were kicked off (excluding relegation games and promotion rounds), of which 15,854 were included in the rating; 5 games were repeated. These five replay games were counted twice in the count below, so the total number of games on the list is 15,859.

The five mentioned encounters were in detail:

1963/1964 season, 14th matchday, Volksparkstadion , Hamburger SV - Borussia Dortmund, December 7th, 1963 canceled due to fog; repeated on December 21, 1963

1967/1968 season, 16th matchday, Neckarstadion , VfB Stuttgart - Borussia Neunkirchen, December 2, 1967 canceled due to fog; repeated on December 16, 1967

1972/1973 season, 10th matchday, Eintracht Stadium , Eintracht Braunschweig - Eintracht Frankfurt, October 31, 1972 Aborted due to fog, repeated on November 28, 1972

1993/1994 season, 32nd matchday, Olympiastadion Munich , FC Bayern Munich - 1. FC Nuremberg, game on April 23, 1994 canceled due to recognition of an irregular goal, repeated on May 3, 1994

2007/2008 season, 28th matchday, easyCredit-Stadion , 1. FC Nürnberg - VfL Wolfsburg, April 11th, 2008 cancellation due to puddles on the field after a downpour, repeated on April 20th, 2008

Numerous stadiums have been structurally changed over the years. This results in the problem of whether these stages have to be listed once or several times. Continuous game operations on the stadium site and the unchanged geographical position of the stadium were used as demarcation criteria, based on whether there is a separate Wikipedia article for the old and the new stadium. Since the Duisburg Wedaustadion continued to play during the conversion to the MSV Arena , the games were combined in the list. In contrast, the Düsseldorf Rheinstadion was completely demolished and the game there was interrupted for three years, while the new multifunctional arena was built at a slightly different location, so that both stadiums are listed separately.
