Ludwig Arnsperger (civil servant)

Carl Ludwig Friedrich Arnsperger (born September 3, 1837 in Karlsruhe ; † July 17, 1907 there ) was a Baden ministerial official.

Career

The son of a forest councilor attended high schools in Bruchsal and Heidelberg until 1855. From 1855 to 1860 he studied law in Heidelberg. He began his professional career as a legal trainee at the Pforzheim District Court, as a secretary at the court court des Seekreis in Constance and as a secretary of the high school board at the Ministry of Jestiz. From 1865 to 1871 Ludwig Arnsperger was bailiff in Heidelberg and from 1871 to 1875 a member of the high school board. In 1875 he took over the management of the Achern district office as a senior bailiff . In 1877 he was Ministerialrat in the Ministry of the Interior in Karlsruhe and in 1881 in the Ministry of Justice, Culture and Education. In 1891 he became a secret councilor and in 1895 director of the high school office and privy councilor, second class. In 1906 he was appointed State Councilor. In 1907 he retired and was appointed real privy councilor.

Ludwig Arnsperger was married to Rosa Ernestine Wilhelmine Arnsperger, b. Bischoff-Deurer (1840–1877). His son Walther (1871–1902) was a private lecturer in philosophy in Hanover, his son Hans (1872–1955) professor of medicine and his son Ludwig (1877–1970) a surgeon.
