Ludwig Trepte
Ludwig Trepte (born May 17, 1988 in East Berlin ) is a German film actor .
Life
Ludwig Trepte, the son of rock singer Stephan Trepte , is an autodidact actor. Already at the age of twelve he played for television in the mini-series The next coup everything will be different , in Police Call 110 Murder when the bell rings and in the crime scene Bienzle and the secret witness . In his first leading role in the cinema, Kombat Sixteen , he played the leader of a Nazi group in 2005. For his second leading role in the feature film Keller , he received the award for the best young actor at the 27th Max Ophüls Film Festival in 2006.
Furthermore, Trepte was the main actor in the films Forever and One Day (2006), Seven Days Sunday (2007), in the episode film May 1st - Heroes at Work and in the television film Guten Morgen, Herr Grothe (2007), for which he was in 2008 received the Grimme Prize . In Christoph Röhl's film Part of Me , he played a reserved, amiable young man who stole responsibility for his child and who surprisingly became a father. In the youth drama You can never be sure , he played the role of a behavioral adolescent, for which he again received the Grimme Prize in 2009. In France he shot the feature film Was Du nicht Siehst, directed by Wolfgang Fischer, together with Frederick Lau and Alice Dwyer .
Trepte received international attention as Viktor Goldstein in the three-part film Our Mothers, Our Fathers . The film won the international Emmy in 2014 in the TV Movie / Mini-Series category. In 2013, Trepte was in front of the camera for the eight-part Danish television series 1864 , which revolves around Denmark's defeat in the German-Danish War of 1864. Ole Bornedal was responsible for the script and direction . Trepte also shot leading roles for the Christian Schwochow film Bornholmer Strasse and Das Spinnwebhaus. The short film Dealing with a Cause by Dustin Loose, based on the short story of the same name by the Swedish bestselling author Håkan Nesser , was awarded the 2015 Student Oscar by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with Trepte in the leading role .
In 2014, Trepte took on the role of Lothar Erler alongside Nadja Uhl , Martina Gedeck and Jonas Nay in the three-part Tannbach - Schicksal einer Dorfes directed by Alexander Dierbach .
Since August 2018, Trepte has been promoting the work of the German Red Cross , in particular the activities to promote international humanitarian law .
Trepte is married and has a daughter (* 2011) and a son (* 2018).
